RECYCLING IS LIFE

This year Italy has a big problem to solve in Naples: the garbage disposal. Our children decided to write something about, because they live in another Italian city where garbage isn't an emergency. People recycle their rubbish. Our pupils thought that all the children have the right to breathe fresh air. They wrote a special tale about a great heroine Miss Trashenergy Recycling. She wants to save Naples children. She challenges Black Dirty Boss to solve some difficult clever games.
This work is in a PowerPoint Presentation so children can play.

Litter Campaign

Children on the Eco-Committee were tired of looking at the litter on the back street. It was blowing into the school woodland area. So we decided it was time to do something about it and clean it up!!!

We wrote letters to the local coucil to ask for help cleaning up the mess. A team of workers came and we all picked up the litter. We now hope this area will stay litter free!

Children from Year 6 created this video using Windows Moviemaker. Take a look! :)

Can-O-Worms

At St. Edward's (England) we have a worm-assisted composting system. We convert organic waste from the kitchen and garden into rich, dark compost for our vegetable garden.
Four children from the Eco-Committee made the video using Windows Moviemaker.
